Our Vision
We see God creating an Acts 2 Church: a vital Christian community, where we live the life of the early church. E.g., we "devote ourselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles..."
We dream of:

Worship that honors God and draws people to worship Him.

A community that seeks, loves and wins people who are far from God.

A community where absolutely anyone can find healing, deep friendships, and purpose for life through Christ.

A community where people grow deeper in Christ through: Biblical teaching; small groups; mentoring and accountability relationships; and spiritual retreats.

A community where each person can discover their God-given gifts and passion for ministry, and find a satisfying and effective place of service.

A "starter home" 24/7 church facility between Leesburg and Ashburn that includes a multipurpose space capable of seating 250, classrooms, and offices.
Our Mission
"We love Jesus. We love our neighbors. We make disciples that make disciples. We plant churches that plant churches."
To fulfill our Mission of loving God and others and making disciples, first each one must become a disciple. To simplify, disciples of Jesus Christ are active in three areas: Worship, Grow, & Serve. We provide opportunities for you to give God the highest priority in your life. This is what disciples of Christ do and look like. We:
- Worship - Commit to attend weekly worship services. Parents make sure children are in Sunday school or youth group. Stay close to the Lord; Abide in Christ. Worship the Lord through prayer, singing, and giving.
- Grow - Commit to weekly small group. Develop spiritual disciplines, like daily Bible reading and prayer, and weekly fasting. Strive to become more like Christ. Learn and develop our spiritual gifts. Strengthen spiritual muscle through accountability relationships, mentoring, classes, and retreats.
- Serve - Commit to serve in and from Church of the Holy Spirit. Use time, talent and treasure to reflect Christ's love to the people in our family, work/school, and community. Lead others to the Lordship of Christ by our love and verbal witness, and train them to reach others.
